In 2015, the World Heritage Committee of UNESCO decided to grant the Van Nellefabriek (Van Nelle Factory) in Rotterdam the World Heritage Status. The Van Nelle App allows visitors to experience an interactive guided tour based on iBeacon technology. Based on your location and proximity to the iBeacon Points of Interest the Van Nelle App will augment your visit with additional information such as images and video.
For those who have not had the opportunity to visit the factory in real life, the Van Nelle App allows you to explore and learn about the Van Nelle Factory from the comfort of your own chair.
